MGM Solutions is both a software developer and integrator. We have developed on both the CenTrak and CenTrak-Elpas platforms, with our primary focus on the CenTrak-Elpas series — the platform on which our solutions have been proven successful in VA medical centers since 2002.
As a developer + integrator, we are uniquely approved to develop custom software on the CenTrak-Elpas platform, providing a single point of contact and complete, turnkey solutions. We have chosen the CenTrak-Elpas infrastructure to enable all RTLS Security, Safety, Patient Tracking, Asset Tracking, and Environmental use cases.

Infrastructure Design
Our infrastructure design options offer a blend of three technologies in each tag type for the ultimate in accuracy, reliability, and use cases:
- 433 MHz Long-Range Active RFID: Excellent for wall penetration and outdoor tracking — hears tags up to 1,200 feet on the radius with properly tuned long-range omni-directional antennas
- 125 KHz Low-Frequency Exciters: Direction of tag travel detection and millisecond alert activation to lock doors, hold elevators, and activate proactive CCTV cameras
- Diffused Infrared (IR): Tracks to a specific bed in a room with multiple beds (perfect for clinical rounding) and/or room-level accuracy
Whereas most RTLS functions only indoors and GPS functions only outdoors, MGM Solutions designs systems that work both indoors and outdoors — no Wi-Fi or BLE dead zones.
Building Systems Integration
SecurTRAK integrates with your existing building control and IT systems:
- Elevator Control Systems: Automatically restrict elevator access when at-risk patients approach or during duress events
- Access Control Systems: Lock doors to prevent elopement or confine threats to specific zones
- Proactive CCTV: Cameras automatically activate and follow moving tags during alert conditions
- Stryker / Vocera Nurse Call: PatienTRAK alerts integrate with Stryker (formerly Vocera) nurse call systems for seamless staff notification

Nationwide Sub-Contractor Network
CCTV / Access Control / Cabling Sub-Contractors
Because SecurTRAK systems are life-safety critical, we maintain a nationwide network of trained and certified sub-contractors in CCTV, access control, and structured cabling. These sub-contractors are located within 20–30 minutes of our client medical centers to respond to emergencies. We also train hospital technicians who have interest in servicing the infrastructure and being our eyes and ears during incidents and/or upgrades that we perform remotely.
